Be Faithful to God even in Difficult Circumstances

In my freshman year, I got bullied. I have a disability. During that time I became afraid, anxious, depressed and angry with God because of why he let it happen. (Raise your hand if you have blamed God for bad things in your life, thanks put your hand down). I didn’t understand why he let it happen. Why did he let me be depressed, angry, and anxious? But when the pandemic happened (when I got bullied it was in 2019 ) we quarantined and everything got bad for everyone. (But from my perspective this was a time where we would find God again). During quarantine, that’s where God called me to be his servant again. I was living in Guatemala. I had the fire inside my heart, but when I went to the United States that’s where I put things above God. I started school as a 4th grader and time for time I felt distant from God. Also, they bullied me, too in middle school and I wasn’t putting God above the bullying. The WHOLE POINT of this is: Be faithful to God even in difficult circumstances. Put God over everything. GOD is Not Happy With Punishing People

For years, I couldn’t understand, why a loving GOD commanded us to forgive our enemies and even pray for them. Fast forward, and already 16 years since I became a born-again Christian, I finally understood why. GOD has seen all of our struggles. He has witnessed when we are down, and no one has been there for us. The secret longings of our hearts – HE knows it all, when alone in our room we are crying and it feels like no one is there for us, unbeknown to us, GOD is actually there. GOD knows exactly what we are going through. I can only imagine how it hurts HIM the most when HE has to allow a bad thing to happen. After much reading the bible, and reading books of Isaiah, and Ezekiel, I am highly convinced that GOD is not happy with punishing people. That is the reason why HE had sent tons of prophets in times past to warn people. But of course, people simply chose darkness over GOD’s sovereign and rightful standards. GOD in HIS holiness, and being a just GOD, has no other option but to punish people in their stubbornness. With this knowledge, I have much respect for human life.
