God Took Me Back to School I come from a very humble background however, regardless of the circumstances, me and my siblings went to very good schools by the grace… God Took Me Back to School I come from a very humble background however, regardless of the circumstances, me and my siblings went to very good schools by the grace of God. Miraculously God always provided school fees that all of us were able to complete High School level. Life was going the way it was “supposed” to, Nursery, primary, high school, university, job, marriage, and live happily ever after. That was the plan and so far, everything was going well until Covid. Myself, I started university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in law. However, due to Covid 19, I couldn’t continue with school, so I had to drop out. I had never imagined the reality of ever dropping out of school and its impact in full. I first took it lightly with the belief that I would be able to join the next year, but that didn’t happen, so I started getting depressed. Seeing my colleagues finish and graduate, I drowned more in the shackles of depression and desperation. I had… I Got the Job This is a testimony about how God is always listening. I was relying on my partner for months and we suddenly ended our relationship. I had some money saved up, but it was not much. So, I started aggressively job hunting, but month after month, nothing substantial showed up. I did three interviews that I did not pass, and my money was running low. I kept praying for provision, and God provided here and there for small bills and food, but I needed a salary if I wanted to continue staying in my apartment. When I had just enough for one month’s rent, a friend told me that she recommended me for a role. I talked to her boss two days later and he gave me an assignment which I aced. I got the job, paying me more money than I’ve ever earned in my entire career! I think God waited for me to learn a lesson; that I should have been fully independent in the first place. If I did not go through that struggle, I probably would not have valued self-reliance as much. I

God Has Been Very Good to Me I met a good friend who helped me through a time when I was homeless. Now I have been living in my apartment… God Has Been Very Good to Me I met a good friend who helped me through a time when I was homeless. Now I have been living in my apartment for three years and I drive a very nice white Dodge Neon. I have a dream job and God blessed me with a third child. So, I thank God for loving and blessing me. I know that things are going to get better in my life. My faith is being challenged but I know that God will bring me through. At one point, I lost 30lbs in like 4 months. I gained back 15lbs. I have to stop eating badly. But I am 36 years old, and I am still looking good and healthy. So, I thank God for that. One month ago I was applying for a job at an important university here in my city. One day they called me to ask me if I was interested in getting the job, obviously I said yes, and then they told me that they were going to send me by e-mail all the information they required to continue with the process. When I got the e-mail, they asked for many paper documents I didn’t have to continue with the process. So, I left it that way and I didn’t reply to the e-mail. I thought that the job was impossible to get, BUT NOT TO OUR GOD! I started working in Singapore for a small technology-based company as a sales administrator with low pay (which I secured with the help of God after completing my studies). I worked in the company for close to 3 years, but I couldn’t find any career or financial growth, so I decided to find a new job. I informed my boss that I had to start searching for new jobs as there was no progress. He agreed to me because I held a Master’s degree and felt that I had greater potential. My boss was kind enough to tell me not to tender my resignation, but I could start searching for a new job.
