In 2017, the Immigration Service arrested me and some others whom they deported immediately. I was sent to an asylum residence in another city. A brother in the city invited me to his (church at home) and I began attending.
For 8 years, my immigration case was stagnant and the lawyer handling my case said all options had been exhausted and the case had no hope. They stopped paying my immigration fees.
When I reconnected back to church and engaged in church activities. I met with the Pastor who prayed with me. In November 2020, I attended a court hearing for my immigration case. Within three days, I received a call that changed my life and that of my daughter. They had granted our residence permit for both of us. Praise God!
