Divine Healing Across Time: A Child’s Ear Condition Healed Instantly Through Faith and a Prophetic Word
A powerful testimony of how a decades-old message became a present-day healing encounter, proving that God’s power is not limited by time or circumstance
I want to share a testimony that still fills my heart with awe, because it reminded me that God is not limited by time, distance, or circumstance.
Recently, I felt a strong leading in my spirit to listen to a particular minister of faith. It was not something I had planned or even thought about before. It just came as a prompting, and I decided to follow it. As I searched, I came across some old videos recorded in 1996 in Birmingham, England. At first, I wondered why I was drawn to something from so long ago, but I pressed on and began to watch.
From the very beginning, there was a strong sense of God’s presence. The atmosphere in the meeting was charged with faith. People were laughing, not out of amusement, but out of what is often described as holy laughter, a deep, spiritual expression of joy and release. There were also testimonies of healing, even of serious conditions like cancer. It was powerful to witness, even through a screen, years later.
As I continued watching, the minister began to speak words of knowledge, calling out specific areas where God was bringing healing. When he mentioned backs being healed, I lifted my hands in faith, ready to receive whatever God had for me. I was engaged, expectant, and open.
Then something unexpected happened.
The minister said that someone was being healed of ear drainage.
The moment I heard those words, my heart skipped.
My two-year-old daughter had been dealing with ear drainage. It had been a concern for us. Just the day before, we had taken her to see a nurse practitioner. He examined her ear but could not determine the cause because there was so much fluid that he could not see clearly inside. We left without clear answers, still worried and unsure of what to do next.
And now, here I was, listening to a message recorded decades ago, and I heard those exact words.
It felt personal.
In that moment, I did not hesitate. I received it in faith, believing that God was speaking directly into my situation, even through a message from years past.
What happened next left no doubt in my mind.
The fluid stopped.
Just like that.
There was no gradual improvement, no extended treatment, no follow-up procedure. The drainage that had been present simply ceased, and it never returned. My daughter was healed.
I was overwhelmed with gratitude.
This experience reminded me of something so important. God is not confined by time. A message spoken in 1996 reached into my present reality and brought healing to my child. What He did then, He is still able to do now. His power does not expire, and His word does not lose its authority.
It also strengthened my faith in the way God communicates. Sometimes He leads us in ways that do not make immediate sense. Watching an old video did not seem like it would connect to my current situation, but God knew exactly what He was doing. He positioned me to receive what He had already prepared.
Today, I rejoice in what God has done.
My daughter is well. The issue that once caused concern has completely disappeared. And I have a deeper conviction that God sees, God knows, and God responds.
Praise God for His healing power.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
