I requested prayer for my Muslim neighbor who’s very open to the gospel. He had been experiencing severe back pain which affected his ability to work. When I asked how he was doing, he exuberantly expressed how good he was feeling! I informed him that prayer had been made on his behalf and I think it surprised and pleased him. I believe that my neighbour will receive Christ as his personal Savior very soon. I needed a tooth extracted. I was concerned about pain because no dentist had been able to numb my mouth completely. I felt the Lord directed me to do it while visiting another state. An unusual name kept coming to my mind. When I looked up dentists in that area, one of them had that name. By faith, I made an appointment with him. I am so glad I did—he was an expert. I was done in 20 minutes, had no pain during the procedure, and didn’t need anything for pain after. It was everything I asked the Lord to provide. In the beginning of 2011, I began to suffer with an extreme depression… I began to fall into a state of deep depression regarding my faith in Jesus Christ… and became even more depressed by the attitudes of those who pretended to be Christians, where in reality, they are not…I avoided all forms of fellowship! I can clearly remember saying to my wife that I wanted to die, but I did not have the guts to kill myself…I said these words to her: “I only hope that some deadly disease will come upon me and take my life!’ Pro_18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. I did not know then what I know now that by this very utterance I had given Satan permission to attack and kill me. Not long after…I became very weak and ill. I began to lose a lot of weight, and became unable to eat… and what I did eat failed to stay down. In her terrible suffering, a passage of God’s words suddenly occurred to her: “Everything, from the surrounding environment to people, affairs, and things, all exist by permission of His throne. Do not, on any account, let grievances arise in your heart, or God will not bestow His grace upon you. … To dwell in sickness is to be sick, but to dwell in the spirit is to be well”. God’s words brightened her heart, driving out the darkness within her; she realized that her illness had occurred with God’s permission, and that His benevolent will was within it. However, she hadn’t learned anything from this; instead, she blamed God when she saw her condition growing more and more serious. Xiu thought about how God is the Lord of creation, and she herself is a created being, even more insignificant than a speck of dust. How did she have any right to reason with God or blame Him? That was so unreasonable! When she realized all of this, she wasted no time saying a prayer to God: “Oh God, Your will is within this illness I’ve developed, but I’m too rebellious and didn’t know to look to You in seeking, instead misunderstanding and blaming You. In 2003 August, my daughter, who was only 4 months had a disease in her eyes. I was also in search of a job at that time. I was in a depressed condition. I turned to Jesus Christ and prayed for my needs. The following miracles happened after a few months because of God’s grace : On 3rd January my daughter was healed completely by the mercy of Lord Jesus. Doctors had asked us for an operation for this disease in January. But God has blessed our daughter without any operation. Praise the Lord. In 2003 August, I attended an interview for a job in the Gulf. I am very glad to let you know that I have passed the interview and my visa is now under process.
