The Lord has done it finally. He made a loud announcement by giving me a permanent job after about four months of joblessness. Also, my hubby had an ailment that gave a possibility of cancer scare, but the devil was put to shame after a successful procedure showed that all areas are clear. The Lord turned around everything in a jiffy. He zeroed all my worries. I just want to share my testimony of the great things my God has done in my life, and I know there are more great things to come amen! I am a student and I have been applying for jobs for at least a year now and they have all been unsuccessful, I recently came across a vacancy, and I said to myself, “By all means, I MUST get this job in Jesus’ name”. I then applied and received no feedback so I decided to pray about it and called them a few weeks later. I was called to come in for an interview and all glory to God I was a successful candidate! As a child, the thought of sitting and listening to someone speak for an hour was the strangest thing to me so I never really paid much attention to what was being said, nevertheless, God was giving me a knowledge of the foundation gospel through the church. As a family, we used to go to a place in the summer called Capernwray Hall which is a Bible School during the year but during the summer they do Christian family holidays and once I was old enough, I attended the teenage youth weeks. During one of the camps, something happened which changed my life. During one of the meetings during the summer of 2008 when I was 14, God spoke to me and convicted me of my sin. It was so clear that I was in a state of sin and on the road to hell. I knew this to be true from the years of faithful teaching I had been given at my church but up until that point I had refused to listen before the Holy Spirit melted my heart of stone. Got a Job After 10 Years

I took an exam last Friday and I passed very well. This is a big deal for me because although I have a foundation in the course, it has been a very long time, and I thought I had forgotten everything about it. Somehow, I joined the class even though it was late, but I still surpassed everyone I met in the class. I also submitted my CV for a job in the career group of the church last Tuesday and God indeed went ahead of me. He shattered existing systems and became my system, just like Pastor J said during our praying and fasting week. I was quite nervous because the last job interview I had was 10 years ago, and a lot of things have changed. But God showed up, and both my first and second interview sessions looked like I was gisting with a long-lost friend. To the glory of God, it is not even up to a week, and I already have the job. Praise the Lord! The church took me in and helped me grow as a Christian and the rest of the staff. I even got a job as a custodian for four years. The seeds of faith were planted, and my roots were more noticeable through the things I learned in God’s word over the years. The experiences that God allowed in my life, both good and bad, gave me the awareness of my urgent need for God in my life! The rest of my story is a series of ups and downs, but God was in my life this time, directing me and teaching me how to love Him, love others, and enjoy myself. My born-again faith started on June 25, 1986, when I finally gave up drugs and alcohol, giving me a new opportunity to live my life for Jesus Christ.
