My life in Perth was filled with anxiety. I was working a full time job as a bookkeeper for a company servicing client managers of mining operations. I have tasted the bitterness and brutality of the real-world society and seen the physical and felt the spiritual oppression of work life inside a corporate office. It was filled with fear tactics and manipulation. To make my life worse, my family were unbelievers and they lived in constant fear of people, the society and the “system”. They related to me and others in a very fear-based/controlling way that hindered my spiritual growth and faith, and freedom in Christ. The LORD led me to quit my job and apply for new jobs. He gave me the strength to move to Adelaide on my own, not knowing anyone there or anything. He blessed me with a job cleaning homes on a part-time, permanent basis. Before I begin, I want you to know that “The so-called laws of health are simply the laws of mortal belief. JESUS CHRIST is the ultimate healer”. I was struggling with face and body rashes for a very long time. They will come all over my face and body and affect my self-confidence because wherever I go, I will either have people asking me what’s on my face or staring. I prayed to God to heal me many times, but then I wanted it my way, neglecting God’s way. I would stare at my face in the mirror countless times, wishing it would all just disappear. He has made me rich in love. I grew up in the church. I knew of God and went through all of the motions of Christianity, but I don’t think… He has made me rich in love. I grew up in the church. I knew of God and went through all of the motions of Christianity, but I don’t think I knew God until adulthood. I grew up with divorced parents and had no real example of what love should look like. I remember people talking about letting God lead your love life, but I never really knew what that meant. I entered into a relationship that was not good for me. He wasn’t anything on the list of things I knew I needed in a partner, but the idea of him was so appealing that I dated him anyway. We got engaged, and things started getting bad. He was abusive towards me in many ways, and the situation became unsafe for me. I stayed for many years in the abuse because I felt so much shame about our relationship, and I believed that God truly wouldn’t forgive me for the mistakes I’d made during that time. I started working in Singapore for a small technology-based company as a sales administrator with a low pay (which I have secured with help of God after completing my studies). I worked in the company for close to 3 years but I couldn’t find any career growth and financial growth and I decided to find a new job. I informed my boss that I have to start searching for new jobs as there was no progress and he has agreed to me as I was holding a Masters degree and he felt that I have greater potential. My boss was kind enough to tell me not to tender my resignation, but I can start searching for new job. I searched for job close to 4 months and attended many interviews but couldn’t secure any offer.
