my Paul and Silas experience
On the evening of Friday 18 June 2021, I got a phone call that my sister had died. On Saturday I started to listen to worship music, mostly to hallelujah from the valley and I started to thank God.
In the first days, I thanked him that He will help me get through this difficult time, and later I could add thanks for the years I could spend together with my sister, and that she is in heaven with Jesus. God was really with me last summer, and he even provided the answers to questions I had about my sister’s death.
I call the summer of 2021 my Paul and Silas experience. I didn’t stop to praise and thank God and he freed me from darkness in my mind that easily could have become a mental prison. We have a faithful God and all praise and thanks to him.
