A testimony that could encourage someone to listen to their inner voice, which comes from God!!
In 2014, I suddenly noticed weakness and pigmentation… I could not even hold a cup of coffee in hand, on further tests, I was told I had hyperthyroid and was given medicines and shifting out of hospitals and doctors was becoming a regular.
As we were wanting second opinions… each doctor put me through all rigorous and scary tests thus intensifying my fear… over some time I just wanted to be left alone.
I felt withdrawn, but by God’s guidance, I consulted a homoeopathic doctor who was also a counsellor. She had a habit of making anything huge seem small.
All the doctors were confused because thyroid being a genetic disorder was not so in my case… none of my paternal or maternal side aunts or grannies or anyone related by blood had anything to do with thyroid.
I was put on Methimazole from 2014 to 2016… just the dose kept changing, and to add to it, I suddenly developed a severe hives allergy.
Every day when my son returned from school, some part of my face would be swollen, and no amount of alterations in diet could stop it.
Then a strong voice kept telling me repeatedly, insisting louder and clearer to stop Methimazole as the swelling was a result of overdose.
I plainly listened to my inner voice, and would you believe it, within three months of the toxins getting out of my entire system, and I was as normal as ever.
I strongly believe that those 2 years of my life were allowed by God with a start date and an end date to draw me closer to Him and to lean on Him and Him alone.
Every single cell in our body belongs to God; He knows us even before our conception in our mother’s womb.
I’m confident that our Heavenly Father has a perfect plan and purpose for our lives to mould, shape, and refine us and to be more empathetic and understanding towards others.
It’s been 6 years and five months that I’ve been cured of the whole thyroid stuff.
