I am a British citizen and I know by right my daughter is entitled also to hold a British passport. Some 13 years ago, when my daughter was 3+, we visited the UK for a month and decided to put in an application for her to get it. While our stay was about to end in a few days, and we needed my daughter’s Nigerian passport for her return which was part of the documents submitted for the application, we placed a call through and we were told we could come pick up her Nigerian passport for her return while they work with our other documents. We got it and we returned it. Months passed and there was no news. British passport wasn’t released, and our supporting documents were not returned. We began to exchange emails, and after almost a year, we were told our documents couldn’t be traced, it was lost, and the application closed. We were pained and began the process of getting certified true copies of our documents as the originals had been misplaced. Again, some 6 years later, we were back in the UK for about 2 months and we decided, we go again. I want to thank God for granting me a UK visa this January. I had applied for a UK visa five times, which were all rejected, but God gave me my victory early this year. Also, my husband and I have been trying to have our own babies for the past 5years while I was still in Nigeria. I had the opportunity to sit on Daddy and Mummy G.O.’s chair at the January Holy Ghost service 2023, where I prayed that God should open my womb immediately. I joined my husband in the UK, and God answered my prayers. In July, they did genetic tests on the baby in my womb and the results said there was a high risk of Down syndrome and I prayed to God during the BEYOND EXPECTATIONS CONVENTION that it would not be the portion of baby, that my baby is Fearfully and wonderfully made for marvellous is the work of God and to God be the glory they conducted Anatomy scan and my babies are healthy and developing well in my womb. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Mumbai, India, and a Master’s of Science in Computer Science from one of the top Universities in the US. I interviewed at practically every major firm and various startup companies, but some issues would come up and block me from getting hired. Some of the reasons that I was given included: we are currently in the process of our second round of funding, and resources are tight; you have the necessary skills, but I’m not sure about your managerial skills, etc. When I was on one type of visa, I noticed that the jobs needed another visa type. It was very tough for me, since for the first time, I was not going to trust anyone but God directly by praying to Jesus. It was during this time, I started reading the bible, I watched many videos on YouTube and read articles/testimonies on the internet, on how we have been given authority to use Jesus’ name to drive out demons/evil spirits/legions (Luke 10:19). I verified this with the bible. Before I did my research on the internet, I would pray because a lot of stuff on the internet is false, but a lot of small-time people’s testimonies are true, which built my trust in Jesus, the son of God and God himself.

Before then I was very scared to come here. I went to an Australian campus in Malaysia for my first year of college since I was not sure I could handle being in the USA. Later when I left for my holiday, my parents convinced me to pursue studies in the USA or Australia. I started the application process and told God the first response would be His will for me. I got accepted to MC, I took the I20 to the embassy for visa application. I told God unless He is coming with me to the USA, I do not want a visa. Getting a US visa is a tough process for many with numerous attempts but for me, on my first attempt, I got the visa. Glory to God, I knew no matter what I faced in a foreign country, in the city of New York where I knew no one, He would always be by my side. That’s all I needed.
