Praise the Name of Jesus. I have been in the Lord for more than thirteen years. I have had the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, receive infilling very often, and base my life on His Word…but I have yet to receive tongues. before anything I wish to reassure those who need it… The Lord, now I know, leads His people as HE knows they require. Not as per our wishes. There are so many plain teachings about the gift of tongues, and I am someone who reads so much…yet this was not opened to me. This year, at the beginning of passion week, I was led into a fast. For the first time, I was attempting a long fast of several days. I fasted for three days. On the fourth day, I was in a downcast mood. Now and then I ask my husband for permission to go for fellowship and he refuses. I started working in Singapore for… My Job Hunt Hi All, I would like to share my story on how God showed his miracle to find a job for me. I started working in Singapore for a small technology-based company as a sales administrator with a low pay (which I have secured with help of God after completing my studies). I worked in the company for close to 3 years but I couldn’t find any career growth and financial growth and I decided to find a new job. I informed my boss that I have to start searching for new jobs as there was no progress and he has agreed to me as I was holding a Masters degree and he felt that I have greater potential. My boss was kind enough to tell me not to tender my resignation, but I can start searching for new job. I searched for job close to 4 months and attended many interviews but couldn’t secure any offer. What Do I Do? I need help. I am a teen who lives on an island. On this island, there aren’t a lot of teen Christians. You usually get made… What Do I Do? I need help. I am a teen who lives on an island. On this island, there aren’t a lot of teen Christians. You usually get made fun of for being one. At the start of 2023, I repented for everything, and I promised to not go back to my old life. I started praying and reading the bible more and then suddenly I stopped. I felt my spirit dying and I started back but down in December I lost myself again and went back to my old life now. I feel ashamed and I have a heavy shoulder like I have a big bag of burden on my back. I repented and begged God to forgive me. But I still feel this burden, all because I wanted to be a Christian but also wanted to fit in with my friends. What do I do? It has always been like this. Since I decided to build a stronger relationship with God. I grew up in a religious family, but that didn’t mean I automatically had a great relationship with God. I needed to build it up myself. I always thought I already had a good relationship with God because I went to church. I always prayed before going to bed and also for my food, but it seemed to get into a routine. So, when the big holiday came around, I had enough time to build a healthy relationship with God. I was fresh out of a long-term relationship, sort of starting… I Knew My Prayer Was Heard My turning to God experience started about a year and a half ago. I was fresh out of a long-term relationship, sort of starting over on my own in the world. I had just moved into a new apartment that I liked and was grateful for. Just before getting the apartment I had experienced a few months of homelessness. My son fortunately had the presence of mind to turn to God and ask for help before I even did. He told me he said a prayer to God for the first time in his young life that we wouldn’t be homeless anymore and within a day or two God secured the perfect place for us. My little house by the beach. God was already starting to move mountains in my life before I even decided to say a prayer myself. I was feeling a lot of things such as pressure to get a new job, loneliness, a bit of despair and wondering who I was anymore now that I was no longer the other half of a couple.
